How to buy our services

Pay As You Use (PAYU)

The following services are available to schools as stand-alone services or in addition to subscription services.

Curriculum Topic Collections

Collections of books and other items to boost school resources on a termly basis, focused on specific areas of the curriculum.

10 Books = £31 per term
20 Books = £62 per term

Group Reader or playset pack of books (usually 6 per pack)

1 pack = £10 per term
(regardless of number of books)

Advice and Practical Support

on aspects of school libraries and book provision, including library planning and design, staff recruitment and training, stock assessment, library organisation, information skills, stock promotion, stock checks (MLS systems) and assistance with self-evaluation.

Subscribing schools and non-subscribing schools on PAYU £80 (up to 1.5 hours) £262 per day (4.5+ hours)

Book Exhibition Collection

An opportunity to buy books, confident that you are selecting from the best titles in print for Key Stages 1 & 2.

Subscribing schools: 20% discount
full servicing of stationery, spine labels & protective jackets (service charge per book)
books can be included in the Exchange service
Non-subscribers: 10% discount
protective jackets and spine labels (service charge per book)
£20 administrative fee

Disaster Recovery Service

provides support if library books are damaged by fire, flood or similar bad luck. SLS can provide “emergency” books to fill the gap and help school staff to assess the damage for insurance purposes.
